PHOTO & PERSONALIZATION PRIVACY NOTICE

This notice supplements the general You, Outlined Privacy Policy and explains how we handle photographs and personalization information.

Information We Receive

When customers use You, Outlined, they may provide photographs, names, captions, personal messages, creative instructions, book preferences, and place references. We also receive information necessary to process and support an order, such as contact, payment, shipping, and order information.

How We Use Personalization Information

We use submitted information to:

• Create a free coloring-page preview
• Generate personalized coloring artwork
• Assemble the complete digital book proof
• Process requested revisions
• Print and fulfill approved books
• Communicate about previews, proofs, orders, and delivery
• Provide customer support, prevent misuse, and meet legal or accounting obligations

AI-Assisted Processing and Service Providers

Our service uses automated and AI-assisted image-processing tools to transform customer photographs into personalized artwork.

Authorized commerce, payment, cloud-hosting, image-processing, email, shipping, and print-fulfillment providers may process information only as needed to operate the service, complete the requested product, and support the order.

Private Photos and Public Use

We do not sell customer photographs. We do not place a customer’s private photographs, name, preview, or finished book in public samples, advertisements, social media, or promotional materials without separate permission.

Permission to Upload

Only adults may purchase products or submit photographs through our service. The person uploading a photograph confirms that they own it or have permission to use and reproduce it.

When a child appears in a photograph, the uploader confirms that they are the child’s parent or legal guardian or have authorization from the parent or legal guardian. Our service is directed to adults and is not intended to collect information directly from children under 13.

Retention and Deletion

We retain photographs, personalization files, proofs, and related order information only for as long as reasonably necessary to create and fulfill the book, provide customer support, document proof approval, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable legal or accounting obligations.

To request deletion of eligible photographs or personalization files, email hello@yououtlined.com and include the associated order number. Deleting files before an order is completed may prevent us from creating or fulfilling the product. We may need to retain certain transaction and approval records as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Privacy Requests

Customers may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of eligible personal information. Additional rights and choices are explained in our general Privacy Policy.
